Parties, faculty talks, tailgating on tap for Graduate Reunion Weekend 2017
Celebrating a milestone graduation anniversary this year? Register now for the A. B. Freeman School of Business Graduate Reunion Weekend! Scheduled to coincide with Tulane Homecoming, this year’s reunion takes place Nov. 3-5 and honors the graduate classes of 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007 and 2012.
On Friday, Nov. 3, the activities start at 10 a.m. with tours of the new Goldring/Woldenberg Business Complex. Space is very limited, so reservations are required. Then, at 1:30 p.m., Freeman School Dean Ira Solomon will host a Q&A session in GW2 followed by two special “Back to the Classroom” talks: Assistant Professor of Finance Candace Jens will deliver her paper “Change in Capitol: How a ‘60 Minutes’ Expose and the STOCK Act Affected the Investment Activity of U.S. Senators,” and Professor of Practice and former JetBlue CFO Mark Powers will present “Confessions of a CFO: The Quarterly Reporting Cycle, Increasing Share Price and Shareholder Firm Value.”
That evening, the Freeman School hosts a Welcome Party for all Freeman graduate reunion celebrants at the Chicory, 610 S. Peter St. Informal class gatherings will follow at locations around town.
On Saturday, the action shifts to Tulane’s uptown campus for tailgating on the LBC Quad prior to the Tulane – Cincinnati game. After the game, alumni are invited to an All-Reunion After Party.
Due to the various events happening in New Orleans that weekend, we strongly encourage you to book your accommodations as soon as possible. The Freeman School has reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Monteleone and the Hotel Indigo at a special discount rate. For more information and to register, visit freemanreunions.tulane.edu or email freemanalumni@tulane.edu. Hope we see you there!
