The Advocate: New state deal with CenturyLink offers $17.5M in tax incentives

Peter Ricchiuti, William B. Burkenroad Jr. Professor of Practice in Equity Research and senior professor of practice in finance, was interviewed for a New Orleans Advocate story about efforts to keep CenturyLink, one of Louisiana’s two remaining Fortune 500 companies, in the state.
So many companies are here because they have to be here. They either need oil and gas in the Gulf or maybe some access to the river. CenturyLink is one of those companies that physically doesn't need to be here.
