WVUE Fox 8: Face Masks and Economic Projections

Amanda Heitz, assistant professor of finance, was interviewed by WVUE Fox8 News for a segment about the reintroduction of mask mandates in New Orleans in response to the delta variant of the coronavirus.

What we need to do is come together and wear masks and try to keep this from getting worse, because ... if our hospitals fill up and we see case numbers reaching record highs, that may induce further lock downs or further economic disruptions.
