Why are you pursuing an MBA?
I would like to better understand the business needs of my future clients to serve them from a legal standpoint and a business strategy standpoint.
What attracted you to Freeman?
Most of the maritime industry greats have spent time in the Freeman School, and I hope to follow in their footsteps.
What work experience or internship are you most proud of?
I worked in the maritime industry for a couple years before deciding to go to law school. I fell in love with the maritime industry and the incredible people who work in it—so much so that I chose to go to Tulane because of our maritime law program and joint JD/MBA options.
During my first summer in the program, I completed a secondment in London focusing on the London insurance market. I spent my second summer at a law firm in Houston, TX focusing on maritime transactional work. Next summer I will be focusing on ship finance and regulatory work at Blank Rome LLP in Washington, D.C.
I am proud of the relationships I built in the maritime industry and serving as Director of Tulane's Maritime Law Society's MentorSHIP Program, which pairs students and people working in the maritime industry to foster relationships and career development opportunities.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to cook and host dinner parties for my fellow classmates!
What’s a fun fact about you?
