Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business has promoted Chloe Lantz to executive director of the Career Management Center.

In this new role, Lantz will lead the CMC’s strategic vision and operational excellence, guiding the school’s efforts to prepare more than 3,200 undergraduate and graduate students for successful careers. She will oversee career readiness initiatives, strengthen employer and alumni partnerships, and drive enhanced employment outcomes for students.

Lantz previously served as the CMC’s director of employer engagement, where she led initiatives that resulted in a 50% increase in on-campus recruiting activity since 2023, including the coordination of 150 recruitment events in the past academic year.

“Chloe’s achievements demonstrate her exceptional ability to build meaningful partnerships that benefit our students and improve the visibility of our programs,” said Paulo Goes, Freeman School dean. “She brings invaluable institutional knowledge and established relationships to the role, attributes that will enable her to make an immediate impact. Her deep understanding of Freeman’s culture and strategic priorities, combined with her proven track record of innovation and results, makes her ideally suited to lead the Career Management Center into its next chapter.

“Chloe is also a recent graduate of our Professional MBA program,” Goes added, “giving her a firsthand understanding of the student experience.”

Prior to joining the Freeman School, Lantz managed communications for Tulane’s Office of Human Resources & Institutional Equity. She also brings to the role more than a decade of client relations and advisory experience, including work with industry leaders such as Amazon, FedEx, Waymo and 3M.

She hold’s a bachelor’s degree in English from Louisiana State University.

Lantz succeeds Carla Coury, who retired in September after serving two years as the CMC’s executive director.
