Tulane-CENTRUM EMBA alum helps lead digital transformation at Peru’s largest bank
César Dávila (MBA '24) is a graduate of the Tulane-CENTRUM Executive MBA program, a dual-degree joint offering of the Freeman School and CENTRUM Business School at Pontifical Catholic University of Perú in Lima, Perú. As a Product Owner at Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) in Lima, Peru's largest and oldest financial institution, Dávila leads digital and data transformation initiatives within the Risk Management division, driving automation, regulatory compliance and strategic data projects that enhance efficiency and decision-making across the organization.

I enjoy leading complex, high-impact projects and inspiring teams to reach their full potential while delivering valuable results that drive organizational growth.

What was the most surprising thing you discovered during the program?
Before starting the program, I expected to study at a highly recognized business school and to strengthen my managerial skills. What truly surprised me was how Tulane University is deeply valued by the city of New Orleans — its reputation, community engagement and the quality of professionals it develops exceeded all expectations.

I would recommend this MBA double degree to anyone looking to strengthen their leadership, communication and global business capabilities. The program challenges you to think beyond borders and prepares you to lead with confidence in a constantly changing, competitive environment.
Where do you hope to be in five years?
In five years, I see myself leading other leaders — guiding high-performing teams and driving large-scale transformation initiatives. Personally, I aim to travel more and enjoy meaningful time with my family and friends.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy going to the gym, playing soccer and video games, spending time with family and friends, and playing guitar — lately turning salsa songs into ballads.
What's a fun fact about yourself?
Whenever I travel to a new country, the first thing I do is look for a Peruvian restaurant — it’s my way of feeling at home anywhere in the world.
