Freeman partners with Leland to provide personalized coaching for Executive MBAs
Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business has partnered with Leland, a national leader in online professional coaching, to provide one-on-one executive coaching to students in the Executive MBA program. The collaboration integrates Leland’s world-class coaches directly into the EMBA curriculum, offering students personalized pathways to leadership excellence.
The partnership addresses the growing need for tailored professional development as business leaders navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving marketplace. Through this initiative, Freeman EMBA students will gain exclusive access to dedicated coaches who specialize in executive leadership, career advancement and organizational strategy.
“At Freeman, we recognize that executive students bring unique experiences and career aspirations that require a bespoke approach to professional development,” said Ashley Francis, assistant dean for the Freeman School’s Stewart Center for Professional & Executive Education. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to serving the specific career needs of our students and ensuring they have the strategic support necessary to navigate complex leadership challenges and achieve their most ambitious professional goals.”
Each EMBA student will receive four one-on-one coaching sessions with carefully matched executive coaches from Leland’s network of more than 2,000 professionals, providing students with insights from diverse industries and leadership contexts.
The sessions are designed to complement the Freeman EMBA’s rigorous curriculum by focusing on real-world application of leadership principles. Students can utilize their coaching to address specific professional challenges, develop strategic career plans, or enhance their leadership capabilities in their current roles.
The coaching sessions can also be scheduled flexibly throughout the academic year, enabling students to address evolving professional challenges as they arise. This high-touch model complements the program's quantitative and strategic curriculum, creating a holistic environment for executive development.
The Freeman Executive MBA program serves working professionals seeking to advance their careers while maintaining their current responsibilities. With the introduction of personalized executive coaching, EMBA students gain an additional competitive advantage in today’s dynamic business environment.
