USA Today: Gold fever spreads as record-high prices continue

Peter Ricchiuti, senior professor of practice and research director of Burkenroad Reports, was interviewed by USA Today for a story about the record-high price of gold.

Ricchiuti said compared with investing in companies via the stock market, gold typically doesn't appreciate as fast. The last year, he said, has been an exception. "It's all about the insecurity of the global economy," he said. "It's a fear factor."
