Following graduation, what’s on the horizon for you professionally?

Following graduation, I aim to secure a full-time position in the sports industry. My goal is to leverage my MBA and the strategic skills I developed at Freeman to contribute to business operations in a meaningful way.

Who was your favorite business professor and why?

Choosing a favorite professor is challenging given the exceptional faculty at Freeman. Ashley Nelson profoundly impacted my approach to business communications and presentations. Her innovative teaching methodology completely transformed how I deliver professional presentations. I also deeply appreciate her commitment to enhancing the student experience through focus groups with MBA students. Another standout professor is Sherif Ebrahim, whose engaging teaching style and humor make every lecture and concept approachable. I was fortunate to take two of his courses, benefiting from his extensive business expertise and industry knowledge.

What was your favorite business course? Why was it your favorite?

My favorite course was Advanced Spreadsheet Modeling with Claire Senot. This class proved to be the most immediately applicable to my professional work. We explored advanced Excel functions in depth and learned Power BI. The skills I acquired have become integral to my daily life, significantly improving my efficiency and analytical capabilities. I now possess an advanced understanding of Excel's full potential, which has proven invaluable in both academic and professional contexts.

What’s the most important thing you learned at Freeman?

The most valuable skill I developed at Freeman was effective time management and prioritization. The first year of the MBA is on a quarter system with seven-week courses. This demanded quick learning and efficient management of assignments and studying. While initially challenging, I quickly mastered the ability to excel academically while balancing three part-time campus positions. This experience taught me to successfully manage academics, work, and personal well-being, without burning out or overexerting myself.

What’s your favorite New Orleans memory?

My most memorable New Orleans experience was witnessing Tulane Football win the American Conference Championship. Working with the football team last season, I had the privilege of watching the victory from the sidelines. The post-game celebration, with fans rushing the field, created an electric atmosphere of shared pride and joy throughout the Tulane community. It remains one of the most exhilarating moments of my time here.
