Following graduation, what’s on the horizon for you professionally?

After graduation, I’m looking to step into a healthcare role at an organization where I can continue learning and growing. My long-term goal is to eventually open my own medical or wellness spa, combining clinical knowledge with a focus on holistic care.

Who was your favorite business professor and why?

Two of my favorite professors were Deen Kemsley, who taught Financial Accounting, and Claire Senot, who taught Supply Chain & Operations Management and Advanced Spreadsheet Modeling. Both of them genuinely cared about their students and made an effort to get to know each person individually. Their kindness, compassion, and depth of knowledge created a supportive learning environment that made a lasting impact on me.

What was your favorite business course? Why was it your favorite?

My favorite business course was Innovation & Technology Commercialization, taught by Dr. Sherif Ebrahim. The class genuinely made me excited about my future. It challenged both me and my business ideas in ways I hadn’t experienced before, pushing me to think more critically and creatively. I’m really proud of the growth, knowledge, and confidence I gained through the course. Dr. Ebrahim is an exceptional professor who truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. The tools and perspective he gave us are invaluable.

What’s the most important thing you learned at Freeman?

The most important thing I learned at Freeman is the value of community-driven growth. Growth isn’t just about acquiring knowledge, but about using that knowledge to make a meaningful impact. I learned just as much from my peers as I did in the classroom, and that exchange of ideas pushed me to think more thoughtfully about how I can contribute to and uplift the communities I’m part of.

What’s your favorite New Orleans memory?

It’s hard to choose just one memory because the culture in New Orleans is so rich. From Mardi Gras to Jazz Fest, live music, and incredible food, the city offers so many unforgettable experiences. If I had to pick, my favorite memory is immersing myself in the diverse music scene and exploring different genres. It’s something that truly defines the spirit of the city.
