In its Best Business School Rankings for 2026-27, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Freeman School's MBA program 50th overall and 29th for entrepreneurship.

Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business climbed 11 spots to No. 50 in the latest Bloomberg Businessweek ranking of the nation’s top MBA programs, marking the school’s highest ranking in the survey since 2018.

The annual ranking evaluates programs based on four core indexes — compensation, learning, networking and entrepreneurship — incorporating feedback from graduating students, recent alumni and corporate recruiters along with employment and salary data provided by the schools. Freeman posted gains across all four key dimensions, including a 20-point jump to No. 29 in entrepreneurship, a six-point jump to No. 50 in compensation, and a five-point jump to No. 52 in networking.

“Surveys provide an interesting snapshot, but our focus has never been on rankings,” said Paulo Goes, dean of the Freeman School. “What’s gratifying about this report is that it reflects meaningful, substantive improvements in student outcomes.”

Bloomberg Businessweek compiles its rankings using a combination of survey responses assessing program quality and rigorous outcome data on career placement and earnings. Freeman’s improvement across all four measures underscores the school's strategic emphasis on experiential learning and market readiness.

“The true measure of our programs is the success of our graduates,” Goes added. “The quantifiable improvements driving this ranking — stronger placement statistics, higher graduate compensation and increased alumni satisfaction — tell us our strategy’s working.”
