Alumnus delivers TEDx talk on servant leadership
Edward Crawford (MBA ’09), co-founder and president of Coltala Holdings and member of the Business School Council, recently delivered a TEDx talk at Wiley College on the role of service in business and life. Referencing his work as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republican as well as his experience in Afghanistan in 2012 as part of a Special Operations Task Force, Crawford encourages listeners to become servant leaders in their lives.
"I urge you today to set yourself aside to seek to serve others," Crawford says. "Commit today. Transform a life. Find something worth dying for and live for it. And reach deep inside your heart and find the courage to serve."
