Beta Gamma Sigma recognizes newest members with virtual ceremony

The Tulane chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society recognizing academic excellence in the study of business, officially welcomed its newest members on May 15, 2020.

While the Freeman School’s traditional recognition ceremony was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Beta Gamma Sigma hosted a first-ever, society-wide virtual membership recognition ceremony on May 21, 2020. Hosted by BGS CEO Chris Carosella, the online event was attended by 1,200 new inductees representing 400 chapters around the world.

Beta Gamma Sigma is recognized by the educational and corporate communities as the highest recognition a business student can receive in a program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Tulane’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma was established in 1924.
