The Times-Picayune: Louisiana has struggled to become a high-tech hub. Can it become a key outpost instead?

Rob Lalka, Albert Lepage Professor in Business and professor of practice in management, was interviewed by The Times-Picayune for a story about New Orleans' efforts to establish itself as a destination for tech companies and workers.
"When looking at the investments in cities like Boston, New York and San Francisco, New Orleans entrepreneurs receive significantly less venture capital," said Rob Lalka, director of the Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tulane University. "But even compared to other ‘Rise of the Rest’ cities like Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, Salt Lake City, and Denver-Boulder, there’s still a significant gap. The data show we still have work to do."
