Dee Parekh is an entrepreneur and founder of SolveCircle. At SolveCircle, Dee developed market-ready solutions through innovative business models and strategic execution. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics, she participated in the prestigious UNC Launch Accelerator, honing skills in business development, strategic planning, and leadership. Her entrepreneurial experience has given her firsthand knowledge of scaling startups, identifying market opportunities, and navigating funding. Now pursuing an MBA with a focus in Finance, Dee seeks to leverage her blend of academic achievement and entrepreneurial practice toward a career in corporate finance or investment banking. Passionate about innovation and sustainability, she is eager to build a career that balances profitability with long-term impact. Outside of school, Dee enjoys cooking and dancing, interests that reflect her energy and creativity.

What internships or work experience are you most proud of?
I worked for one year after my undergraduate studies developing my startup.

Why are you pursuing an MBA?
I want to build on my economics degree and broaden my skillset to be better equipped to enter the finance world.

What attracted you to Freeman? What are you hoping to achieve?
I’m hoping to get hands-on experience in finance and leverage Freeman’s alumni network to land my dream job.

Where do you hope to be in five years?
In five years, I hope to be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a team where my skills are valued.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I am the founder of the small business task management app, SolveCircle.
