Business Insider: Why a professor of finance isn't impressed by gold's stunning rally in 2025
Peter Ricchiuti, senior professor of practice in finance and research director of Burkenroad Reports, was interviewed by Business Insider about his thoughts on gold's steep rise this year.
"If you want to play aluminum or platinum or silver, they all have uses, and gold effectively has no uses," Ricchiuti said. "It's just in jewelry. It doesn't help in an industrial process."
