Osman Kazan, professor of practice in management science and director of the Master of Business Analytics program, was interviewed by The National Desk for a story about Waffle House's decision to add an egg surcharge to its menu in the face of soaring prices.
Osman Kazan, a business expert with Tulane University's Freeman School of Business believes, it's not unreasonable for Waffle House to add the surcharge, considering egg prices are up over 50% since November.
"They basically want to reflect that cost, the supply cost, to their customers," said Kazan.
