Favorite Business Professor: Professor Cathy Gray has had an immeasurable impact on my experience at Tulane. I was lucky enough to take her Managerial Accounting class sophomore year and Audit course senior year. She consistently brings her real-life experience into lectures, specifically sharing her stories from visiting client sites to count physical inventory during the audit process. Her engaging content and genuine passion for accounting made theoretical concepts tangible and relatable, inspiring me to enter the field. Visits to her office hours inevitably morphed into personal and professional mentorship, which has been invaluable. Professor Gray showed genuine excitement for me pursuing my interest in accounting, aiming to get the CPA, and succeeding professionally and academically. I will always look up to Professor Gray’s accomplishments and passion. I am so grateful to have gained such a meaningful relationship with her during my time at Tulane.

Academic, extracurricular or personal achievement you're most proud of: I’m most proud of how I found success entering the accounting field in a nontraditional way by forging my own path and staying true to my passions and interests.

Top items on professional bucket list: I hope to mentor several future Freeman students, and I want to test, develop and publish a gluten-free cookbook that makes the New York Times bestseller list.

Fun Fact: I won season 4 episode 1 of “Chopped Junior” cooking entirely gluten free when I was 12 years old.
