Eric Smith, professor of practice and associate director of the Tulane Energy Institute, was interviewed by The Advocate for a story about Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry's proposal to expand power plants, components and fuel enrichment sites.
“People in energy are thinking about it again because they have looked at other options," said Eric Smith, associate director of the Tulane University Energy Institute. And if there's a need for clean, reliable power and lots of it, nuclear is about the only option, he said.
