Reunions/Homecoming Weekend kicks off Nov. 3

The A. B. Freeman School of Business celebrates Tulane Homecoming 2017 and Graduate Reunion Weekend on Nov. 3 - 5 with a full slate of events for alumni, parents and friends.
The festivities kick off on Friday, Nov. 3, with tours of the soon-to-be-completed Goldring/Woldenberg Business Complex, which will add 85,000 square feet of new and renovated space to the Freeman campus when it opens in January 2018. Space is very limited, so if you are interested in taking a tour, please sign up for your preferred time when registering at freemanreunions.tulane.edu.
Following the tours, the Freeman School hosts an Open House. At 1:30 p.m., Dean Ira Solomon will deliver his annual "State of the School" address and take part in a Q&A session. Next, you can hear short talks by two Freeman School faculty members. At 2 p.m., Assistant Professor of Finance Candace Jens will discuss her research on how the STOCK Act affected the investment activity of U.S. Senators (hint: it wasn't good). At 2:30 p.m., Mark Powers, professor of practice and former CFO of JetBlue, will present "Confessions of a CFO: The Quarterly Reporting Cycle, Increasing Share Price and Shareholder Firm Value.” All presentations will take place in Room 1111 of GWII.
On Saturday, the action shifts to the LBC quad for tailgating before the Tulane-Cincinnati game in Yulman Stadium. Join us in the Freeman School Tent to catch up with faculty and classmates before the game.
Freeman also has a number of special activities planned for graduate alumni celebrating milestone graduation anniversaries (1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012). Visit freemanreunions.tulane.edu for more information. Undergraduates celebrating milestone anniversaries should visit alumni.tulane.edu for more information and to register.
