The National Desk: CBS investigation finds hundreds of Meta platforms with ‘Nudify’ advertisements

Ashley Nelson, senior professor of practice in management communication, was interviewed by The National Desk about Meta's efforts to stop the spread of advertisements on its platforms that promote AI tools used to create sexually explicit deepfake images.
“Every time Meta will find something on Facebook or Insta, they’ll take it off, but another bad actor — or the same actor — is just going to reinvent it and repackage it and then put it right back up. It happens with everything.”
