LinkedIn ranks Freeman among Top 100 Global MBA Programs
Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business has earned a spot on LinkedIn’s ranking of the world’s top MBA programs. LinkedIn ranked Freeman at No. 97 on this year’s list, marking Freeman’s first appearance on the global list since LinkedIn began compiling it in 2024.
The annual list is unique among rankings in that it doesn’t rely on alumni surveys or school-reported data. Instead, it focuses on the career trajectories of alumni based on analysis of LinkedIn member profiles. The methodology assesses programs across five core pillars:
- Hiring and demand: Rates of employment and recruiter outreach for graduates.
- Ability to advance: Speed of career progression and promotions to senior levels.
- Network strength: Quality, reach and depth of the alumni network on LinkedIn.
- Leadership potential: The percentage of graduates advancing into executive and entrepreneurial leadership roles.
- Gender diversity: Progress toward gender parity across alumni cohorts.
“Rankings are never our objective, but I’m pleased to see the work we’ve put into reimagining our full-time MBA program being recognized on a global scale,” said Paulo Goes, dean of the Freeman School. “It’s especially gratifying that this ranking focuses on the career outcomes of our graduates, which our prospective students tell us is the single most important thing they’re interested in.”
The ranking was open to MBA programs accredited by AACSB or Equis and with at least 1,500 total alumni and at least 400 graduates within the last six years.
