NBC News: Oil companies to bid on newly released federal Gulf leases

Peter Ricchiuti, senior professor of practice and founder of Burkenroad Reports, was interviewed by NBC News for a segment on the impact of the Biden administration’s auction of oil drilling rights to 80 million acres in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
“It’s not going to have any effect at the gas pump for a long, long period time. It will be five to 10 years before any of that shows up on shore at the gas pump.”
