The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans recently teamed up with the Freeman School for a semester-long project that introduced Master of Business Analytics students to real-world projects and helped the two sports organizations apply findings from data to influence operational decisions.

Tulane University's A. B. Freeman School of Business awarded diplomas to nearly 1,000 degree candidates at its spring 2019 graduation ceremonies. This year's ceremonies took place on Friday, May 17, in the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse on Tulane's uptown campus.

Rob Lalka, executive director of the Freeman School’s Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, was quoted in a New Orleans Advocate story about the Opportunity Zone tax break program, which has received criticism for failing to build in accountability mechanisms to ensure that investments flow to the areas most economically challenged areas.
